Well the show had probably just been picked up since it was the second episode and they filmed the Pilot way before that. So I imagine they had a lot to be happy about.  __________________

That was nice They had been pretty much arguing all episode, or at least Caroline was upset with Bonnie for not giving her the necklace back. It was good seeing that Bonnie was protective of her even after all that __________________

I think Caroline always felt close to Bonnie, but when the witch thing happened it put some space between them. Then during their sleepover thing they finally talked about it and were closer than ever.

In a way both of their transformations drew them away from each other, whether by moral issues or being unaware of what the other was going through. I really wish that Caroline had believed Bonnie earlier on, because I think that would have really made a difference for their friendship in s1. But another part of me likes that other than Damon, Caroline maintained her supernatural innocence until this season.

I was torn when watching Caroline not believing Bonnie. On the one hand I was like "Come on, she's your friend. She wouldn't lie to you like that. Believe her." and on the other hand I felt like... I probably wouldn't have believed her myself.  __________________
