i think he gave into peer pressure, his vancouver "friends" must have convinced him that it would be the last time, that it wouldn't hurt. But i read an article saying that he died because his body was clean so a normal dose was fatal because of that. But that's just my opinion

Well that too was an issue but it was the mixing the two substances that killed him, that's what the autopsy and addiction specialists said. Like if he had just had the substances alone, he'd have been fine.

Yeah, Matthew Perry asked an expert about Cory's and first thing he said that he read about it and said two combinations is what killed him, not overdose. He didn't even mention overdose at all. And said yeah, two combinations did it, just like that.

You know what I find this odd? Cory was pretty clean since he got out of rehab and it was two months of keeping clean and that was because glee filming was over and that meant less stress, less pressure, and he didn't have to worry about those things but relax for his vacation then the glee filming was supposed to be happening on middle of July, like a week after his Vancouver vacation, so his stress probably started to come back slowly and all the pressure and everything because it was getting closer and closer to get back in glee filming and that's probably stressed him so much. So he turned to drugs around that weekend because he thought maybe he could feel relaxed and calmed before getting back in "hectic" life that pressured so much on him and then this happened.

I mean he was just fine for two months till just one weekend before getting back in LA where his "crazy life" got the best of him, all the stress, all the pressure, all about work, trying to be good at it, etc. Yeah, poor bb.

That's a good point to make. And who knows what the director told him they're doing with Finn this season a day before he relapsed and died Judging Ryan's interview, probably ****ty things. Ryan seems to keep a grudge. Plus, he was even thinking of writing out Cory/Finn a lot of stuff and not giving him much screen time thinking that'd be better for Cory in helping him deal with his addiction but that's exactly what Cory was afraid and vulnerable of - losing his job. Ryan is just an idiot. Like my god.

Yeah, I mean whole two months of being clean then ALL OF SUDDEN one weekend, he relapsed? Just two weeks before glee filming started? I really think glee setting is what made him feel so miserable. Made his life a living hell. Like going back is like relieve "bad feelings" all over again and he was obviously dreading for it. VERY dreadful. I mean Lea loved to be on glee and loved working there and Cory just had to put up a face with it and saying, yeah, I can't wait to go back, I am so excited, yeahhhh. Right, if you asked him in season one, he would be ALL OVER ABOUT IT, so excited, over the moon, you can JUST TELL from a mile away!

But this one, it's just opposite, just a facade to put us off thinking that he was excited when he really wasn't. Did you see his interview with Marc? When he said that he was excited to go back to glee and working there, the more he said it, the more I felt that he wasn't. So going back to the set probably brought back bad feelings that he obviously wanted to run away from so of course, he had to use drugs to "cover up" those feelings and pretended that he was happy and in 'safe feeling' instead of facing it on because of fears and shizzy. Poor bb. Just...sad.

Yeah I have no idea. What he said in that interview and such could have been a facade but I think it's more he felt insecure about Glee. Insecure about keeping his job. Insecure because he wasn't getting enough scenes or songs or ANY solos. It's not that he hated Glee as much as he was probably vulnerable about not getting enough material That's what I think anyways. Because before rehab he was afraid of losing his job and wanted to continue to work. And in New York he pleaded Ryan to write him more scenes to be around good influences.

Ryan is just the idiot who said he wanted to do the opposite. And I'm sure he did. Because he said in his interview after Cory's death that they won't have to change much from the script for the first two episodes they wrote before Cory's death, so I'm sure Cory wasn't even in those episodes much, and maybe the director broke that news to him the day before he passed (aka the night he passed) in their phone conversation.

Yeah, that's what I meant going back to set to relieve bad feelings, bad feelings meaning dealing with the fact that he'd be shafted to someone else having plenty of solos, storylines, screentime. Not just about his boss treating him that kind of bad but I am talking in general. When he felt those things, he felt EVERYTHING. That's why he just...wanted to feel different. So what you said is what I meant, "bad feelings" because this is what made him feel that way.

When I looked through season one, god, he had everything, his solos, his lead in numbers, etc and compared to this year, he barely got solos, no, actually, he got ZERO solos, barely a lead in those numbers, and his own girlfriend had done TONS of solos and tons of duets and etc and even Darren has done them and even Chris and Naya but not him. Yeah, nice job, Ryan, congratulations for making him feel like he was below them all. You should just make him feel equal, not below.

Exactly I feel that might have been the initial reason for his vulnerabilities.

Yeah, if he got everything like season one with season four, maybe he would have felt something different like Ryan obviously saw something good in him to give him that. I think Cory wasn't kind of person who would beg Ryan for solo or a duet unlike Lea with her Barbara songs. He would just keep it to himself but still hoped for something to sing. And he never got it.

I know, ranting helps I guess. A stage of grief is anger.

Yeah but unfortunately, I think, this one, I will be so mad at them forever. I don't think there would be a day I would ever forgive them or get past this.

Yeah, they were the reasons to "feed vulnerability" to him. That's why I can't get past it, I just can't.
