Despite being an S/E shipper, I was really interested in how Steroline would develop this season, but so far I've hated the scenes they've had. This is so not what I wanted for Caroline. If Steroline was to be done it needed to be a mutually-paced development of feelings, but instead, Caroline has just been left out in the cold.

I also feel that she's been a little self-centered with regard to her attitude toward Stefan. I appreciate that she's hurt and I feel sorry for her, but Stefan needs understanding too, and Caroline hasn't tried to see things from his perspective, because of her own feelings.

That's what I'm not liking either. Caroline is being so blinded by her feelings that she hasn't been seeing things from Stefan's perspective. She's meant to be his friend first and that means trying to understand him before judging

I think she wasn't quite sure her feelings were that type until last episode. Plus there was till a reluctance to admit it, hence her referring to them as past tense. I think she is really confused at this point and I wouldn't be surprised if this episode was the last we see Caroline as open about the void Stefan left when he took off.

I am not of the opinion that it makes her selfish. I think it makes her look desperate because of the one-sidedness of it. Although in their last scene I could detect that Stefan kind of had an idea of what she was feeling but he wasn't there at that point and walked off.

I can already predict the next trajectory in their story. She suppresses her feelings and moves onto the Damon wannabe. This might cause some strain between her and Stefan which will eventually come to head. I am not quite happy with it but given that they advanced her feelings too ahead of his, I guess I think she needs to take a break from the Stefan thing.

I think it depends on if there is a real intent to go forward with SC or not. I am not convinced the writers are going in that direction. If they are, I think we'll see the former triangle, and if they aren't, we might see a pseudo version of the latter.

I think if they don't want to permanently end SE, then Stefan will never return those feelings and she will actually move on with Enzo. If there is an intent to Delena endgame, then we might see the former triangle and Caroline/Enzo might cause some problems for Stefan, especially since he already has friction with Enzo for what he did to Ivy.

Yeah. I have no idea where the story is going for Stefan this season, romantic wise. I honestly never thought SC would happen because it would be hard to recover the friendship afterwards if it went badly.

I think the past few seasons have exposed that they lack any plan. LOL.

I am just hoping the execution doesn't make us all cringe. It's weird. Some Stefan fans are upset Caroline hasn't seen his perspective on things. Other Caroline fans are upset she's exposing herself without receiving reciprocation.
