i hope they emphasize their friendship more, as the bridge to connecting sam to owen. he did spend the major moments with her character. even if my ship won't happen, i still want to see the deep bond they share before his character branches out to....other interests. LOL

I agree. I think also that Owen now will be almost an "istinctive" part of him, that pops out without his will. We saw it already when he destroyed the black box (because of his former friends) or also when he saw Nikita on that Amanda chair.

But Sam was a soldier, I can see him having more success in that

The boss says he almost included a scene with Sam watching Nikita being labeled as the President's assassin, but he didn't. Boo!
But it's nice that Nikita is back as a rogue agent, just like how she was when she met Owen. Yay! Now we have two rogue agents on the run!! Please let them meet up and tag team! |

Well, honestly it would have looked a little out of place, imho, like 'hey, let's put Sam in the episode for few seconds'.
