Yeah, after all at the beginning of S2 he didn't want to help them. But then! Sam is more complicated than Birkhoff, anyway. Like you say, he has just found out that Owen was something created by Amanda and of course he doesn't want to be him anymore, he just wants to think for himself. I hope that *next season* he'll understand that Nikita loved him no matter what, that she's still his friends. But at the same time Nikita has to accept that Owen is ALSO Sam, that Sam is Owen. He's both. She still has to accept the Sam part of him.

Agreed. Right now I think she is still holding on to the hope that Sam may turn into Owen again. But I'm sure she will have to come to terms with the fact that he is more of a mix of Sam/Owen, which is fine by me.

Exactly. It's clear that she doesn't believe that Sam is what he was before she met him and she has this hope to see Owen only again...but that won't happen. I can understand why it's so difficult for her to accept that, but she'll have to, at some point. Only then she can try to recover the relationship with him.

Probably Sam is so annoyed right now also because all the people thinks that Owen will come back at some point and that Sam won't last.

It must be hard knowing that everyone just wants to see Owen again, even though Sam is the real person and Owen was manufactured almost by somebody else

Owen was manufactured, but I think it wasn't completely a Division creation. Maybe at the beginning, but when he met Emily and then Nikita and the others...he created his own path and life. The people he met changed him but not to use him as a tool, but because they left a mark on him. They became his friends. Sam cannot see this right now, he just sees the "they used me" part.

I'm sure Nikita won't give up on him.
