I don't know if this is the right thread to put this.

The thing is that my computer skills are a bit limited and I'd like to put a header at my LJ. I don't want to change the design of the page, I only want to put a header at the top of the page. Could anyone here help me please? Thanks in advance.

how do you create one of those LJ cuts? like when you put icon teasers and then make a link to the rest....know what i mean?

I was messing around with my journal's appearence today and I changed the theme to fit a new layout that I didn't end up using. I changed the theme back to flexible squares and I clicked 'reset to default' for my basic options and now I have this a bar that it over the top of my journal now. Here is my LJ if you'd like to know what I'm talking about.

^^ I know what you mean. I got rid of it by going to acount > site and then click on navigation strip, but unfortantly I can't remember what I unattached to get rid of the navigation strip.

This is has probably been answered several times but i just got a Livejournal and i was just
wondering, how do you post a tiny preview of icons and then add a link to the post with all of the icons?
it seems like most icons makers on LJ use the same technique but i just cant figure out how you do it

Centerfinn: If this is what I think you are talking about... all you have to do is put in a link from your icon post.

Here is an example: Icon Post

"Here" is his/her link to her icon post.

Yes that is what i meant, but what if i dont want the icon post to show in my LJ?
these icon posts are always on Livejournals page while my posts always end up in my journal page
should i simply do something different when i post an entry? because i always end up with this kind of post

Quick inquiry. From time to time my stylesheet will be overwritten and a completely unformatted journal will show in it's place. Normally this seems to be a short-term glitch but this time it's lasted for a few days with no change. I've checked the settings on my end and they seem to be find. I have no indication that there's a bandwidth issue, as I've checked the file on my side of the server end and it loads fine as exampled below when the link is clicked.

And to further my point the source codes reads as such:

So unless I'm missing something here, the problem seems to be on LiveJournal's end. If someone can please tell me if they have experienced this problem and what the cause and solution is I would be grateful.
