So is Alex now on board for more seasons after season 8? Did he change his mind about that? I was reading stuff from awhile back that he wasn't going to to more than season 8.

In May 2017, he said that feel much better, and see him doing one or two more seasons. November 2017, during SOTB, he said he is open for next season.
