Snippets from Spoiler TV about Magnum P.I. Pilot. Fortunately, there are many characteristic things from the original. In pilot Five-0 is mentioned. So there is a huge opportunity for crossovers.

Higgins is female in this reboot and butts heads with Magnum over everything, but they work together when a friend's life is on the line. Their relationship thaws as the episode continues but it will still be cantankerous. Higgins is also ex-MI6, but was disavowed. There's still 2 dogs like in the original show. Magnum still drives a 308 GTS Ferrari like the original, although Higgins doesn't want to let him use it. Magnum has some history with a woman named Hannah. It didn't end well, but she was his CIA contact and girlfriend for a mission in North Korea years ago that Robin uses in his new book. There is a Plot Twist here. Someone dies and someone is shot in the pilot. Magnum and Lt. Tanaka of the HPD do not get along - some backstory there. The pilot mentions FIVE-0, they are both shot in Hawaii, and the showrunners are from Hawaii 5-0, so there may be a crossover here. Press release and promotional photos for episode 8.16. Eddie is back and Tani & Junior go undercover. I can't wait. Looks like after two episodes in which we had a drop in the quality of the H50 will be back in shape and keep until the end of the season. Episode 8.17 will be with nuclear danger with a lot of action. Episode 8.18 with Danny in New Jersey regarding events in epsiode 8.10. Episode 8.19 we see flashback in 70's with John McGarrett. Episode 8.20 case with treasure and CIA, and a lot of action & Cath return. 8.21, Harry is back. Besides virtually in every in these episodes will be very interesting storyline with Adam, Jessie and this new player. So there is something to wait for.
