Sid I know what you mean but I think Alex wanted to finish the storyline with Doris by himself and Peter gave it to him. For me I wait what I think of the episode Alex wrote not everyone who is actor or Director can write a episode. last year Chi wrote the Thanksgiving episode and for me it was the worse of the season.
