Oh, he wouldn't kill her. He just wouldn't save her.

Just because Cailix said he was her doom doesn't mean he'll be directly responsible for her death. More likely his attempts to thwart her in the end is what brings about her doom.

....Morgana....dead? Kinda defeats the whole perpose of the series and the legend. Arthur we at least knew was done for from the start, and seriously...its not like he really served a perpose.

I'm not so sure. If Merlin didn't care so much about protecting Arthur things might have been very different between him and Morgana.

Agreed, if Arthur wasn't his "destiny" then i think Merlin would have done more to help morgana.

They have gone so off course of the legend that i have given up on using it as a guide for the series. In the original legend Morgana turns good at about where we are now and then takes care of Arthur in Avalon after Mordred "kills" him. While this may still happen i doubt it.

I think without Arthur there, Merlin would have sided with Morgana alot. After all she wanted and tried to stop Uther alot during the first part of the series. The guy was a monster, even now his ghost ass tried to kill Gwen and Arthur.

So yeah, without Arthur there I think she and Merlin would have teamed up to save the kingdom from their mad king.

Aithusa is caught in the middle! She attacked like Morgana asked then out comes Merlin all Dragon Lord and orders her away.

I really hope that when people find out about Merlin being a dragon lord they use this as an analogy XD
