"Guinevere!" Arthur said her name to get her attention
as she walked away from him, and in that scene, this pairing
captured mine. Arthur and Guinevere, future king and his
queen, they were inevitable but I love watching them every step
of the way. I love how she can knock him down a peg when
necessary, but she also has the ability to pick him back up
when he's down. I love all their stolen glances and longing
looks. I just love them together, in whatever way I can get them.

My love for Arthur and Guinevere has a lot to do with how
enchanting I believe they are. Their undeniable attraction to
one another despite their class differences and their forbidden
love makes them intriguing and captivating to me. What is
quite endearing is the way Arthur seems to become a better
person because of Gwen. He listens and takes her opinion into
consideration when his superiority in terms of class doesn’t
justify him having to be. I’m also fond of the way she stands up
to him with little fear, if any at all, and I can’t help but believe
that he admires this and it plays a major role in his growing
feelings for her. They bring out the best in one another and it is
incredibly adorable to see them being playful and fun with each
other, breaking down the barriers society has put on them. Their
story has taken a unique turn in this version of the Arthurian
legends and I can’t wait to see how their love story enfolds.

I love Gwen and Arthur for many reasons. A few those
reasons are superficial ( Did you ever see such a pretty
couple?), a handful are chemistry based (they just sizzle), but
most of the reasons are about the change we've seen in Arthur
because of Gwen. When Arthur and Gwen had their
first 'shipper' episode together, we saw Arthur being a bit
selfish and spoiled but by the end of the episode Guinevere
had taught the future king a very important lesson: Humility.
Arthur is brave, trustworthy and loyal; things that will serve
him well when he becomes king. Saying thank you, asking
instead of ordering, admitting when he's wrong, these are
virtues that will shape him into the great King Arthur. The
king of legend.

Arthur and Gwen, the prince and the handmaiden. With these
two I actually began shipping them before I had even watched
an episode of the show. I thought pretty girl, handsome guy,
what's not to like? This could work. And boy did it work. Well I
started watching season one and was surprised by the lack of
Arthur and Gwen, but as the season drew to a close their
potential only grew. Guinevere! When season 2 began I
was definitely not expecting what was about to happen. The
Kiss. Drop. Dead. Gorgeous. The backlight, everything. The
fairytale kiss every girl dreams of. Magical. The rest of the
season gave us more great moments, and I'm sure in the
future there will be a lot more. Gwen brought out Arthur's best
qualities, helped him to further prove himself as the rightful
heir to the throne. He in turn gave her the love and hope in her
life she so desperately needed. They balanced each other out so
they could both grow together as people. I could not have
asked for anything more, fantastic chemistry and such strong
dedication and love for each other. Someday, they will rule
Camelot. The Future King and Queen.

scififan2009 - I don't know. I think Gwen is still a servant. In Saturday's episode she was walking around with a basket of something in her hand when she discovered the poisoned pig in the pen. And the week before that she came to Arthur to serve him something to drink that morning. Also, didn't Aggravaine mention in his talk with Arthur that Gwen is a servant? Though I don't know who she could possibly be serving since Morgana is no longer around.

I don't know... She still has not said that she loves him yet. Or maybe we are supposed to assume that she said it offscreen. It just seems rather one sided with Arthur often talking about how much he loves her and nothing from her yet.

I mean her actions show that she loves him, but words would be nice.

Now that's Arthur is King and he is clear that he loves her. I don't imagine it will be long until he asks her to marry him. I wouldn't be surprised if in later episodes a villain kidnaps Gwen because they know what she means to Arthur. Either for a ransom or like Morgana they want to make Arthur weak over the lost of her and hurt Camelot.

Arthur finally mention the sibling connection of Elyan and Gwen. When Arthur finally does ask Gwen to marry him, I would hope the writers would put in a scene of Arthur asking for Elyan's permission and blessing to marry Gwen. I can see it now Arthur all nervous and coming up to Eylan stumbling over his words. Elyan letting out a big smile and tell Arthur he would be honor and very happy for Arthur to marry Gwen. And then after they are engaged, Elyan and Gwen having a happy sibling moment.

I mean, considering that season 5 will probably be the last, and Arthur is now king, you'd expect their relationship to progress finally.

Cherrios Arthur is King I don't think he will see the need to ask permission maybe if her father was still alive. I just don't see it happening, but maybe. It would be cute.

Awesome episode. It fully utilized the whole cast which was what I always wanted. Arthur was hilarious, Gwen was charming and adorable especially with that pitcher or jug whatever you want to call it. And finally an acknowledgement of Gwen and Elyan being somewhat related, vague but still something. How cute were Arthur and Gwen in the bath scene I couldn't stop laughing. Why so shy kids? you'll eventually get married someday, so all will be bared

. At least we definitely know they haven't gone past foreplay and heavy petting

Why is this a kids show again? And cherrios I agree with merthurwen I doubt a scene like that would ever happen but it would have been cute though. Sassy Merlin is my favorite, I couldn't stop laughing at the scene with the knights. The cast were absolutely fantastic with their comedic talent.

Just a few more eps and we will see. They seem to be keeping the sibling connection separate from the knight/king thing. I like this as there really is no confusion about where Elyan's loyalties should lie if things go wrong. He is the kings man. If Arthur imprisons/beheads Gwen and Elyan acts in her defense it is treason as he has sworn fealty to the king. If he goes against Arthur even for Gwen and remains a knight it sows a seed of doubt about his loyalties and puts Arthur's authority in question. Which is one of the many reasons why I'm so excited about ep 11.
