In re-reading it, I also like that he has the "things that happen on the set stay on the set" attitude. It shows how much he respects his co-stars.

Especially if you consider that he probably didn't get to be as close to the core cast as they were with one another because he didn't film with them as much. Like, I don't see him being as close with CraigH as Tab, Bridge, and Bruce probably were but he still respects their privacy.

I'm sure that they still got the chance to be close with the others but you are right with how he wouldn't have been as close it really is respectful and loyal with how its great

It's weird, I just can't envision him hanging with the cast, dunno why though.

Cause he didn't really have many scenes with them or something more?

I don't really know. Maybe it is because he wasn't in the first season as much and he didn't seem to interact with the core cast as much even in the 2nd season. Maybe it's not.
He just seems like he would hang out with them on the set, maybe have dinner with them as a group, but he probably wouldn't go out to the bar or anything like that with individual members. __________________

Seriously, I think I might have been tempted over to the "dark side" because DRahl is just that sexy.

I think this is/was the only show that allowed it's main villain(s) to be as attractive as the heroes. Normally in film or tv there main to look either physically off or just have a really skeezy behavior.

And, tbh, I think it was to the benefit of the character because somehow the attractiveness added dimension to his character, almost making him seem more sinister than they wrote the character.
I have to wonder if they cast him as attractive as they did because they wanted to garner some sympathy for his character, even though he was bad. Or at least get people to like him even though he's hell bent on destroying the hero. __________________

Now that I've thought about, Terry Goodkind did not write him as wholly unattractive either. I mean, the worst part about him was the scars. So in neither the show nor the book is he the stereotypical "ugly baddie." I think that's another major difference between book and show. I think Book!Rahl knew what he was doing and never really saw it as being for the greater good of the people of the Midlands. He just seemed to be able to convince people of that. __________________

Oh thats interesting that even Terry wrote Darken as attractive cause you are right on how villain's can be unattractive at times. Not always but its more that they are
I agree on how villain's generally don't see their doing wrong and they think they are doing right for the people. I've seen that alot and I always find it interesting __________________
