Agreed! It already looks more promising for me, with Diyoza back. Still looks like too much Echo for my taste though.

So, as predicted after that first episode, we're literally going to throw away 6 seasons of the most beloved relationship development on this show for the ****ing random Clarke and Gaia. This is so sad. This affects the legacy of the whole show. It's amazing how far Jason will go to spite one specific shipper group.

Also, I'm gonna let it be known right now that I've disliked Gaia since season 4, so nobody's in this fandom is going to tell me that I only dislike her because of my love of Bellarke.

I already knew Bellamy wasn't going to be in 7x02, but now no Clarke also? Damn. Well . . . Diyoza is a great character, and even though I can't stand Octavia sometimes, I did like how they wrote her in season 6, so I can watch for those two. Can't believe we're in the final season and Echo, who, regardless of whether you love her or hate her is just obviously NOT a fan favorite, is probably going to be the character with the most screentime out of everyone. Ridiculous.

Fck, no Clarke either? This is stupid honestly, I think that TPTB has just forgotten the heart and soul of the show being the actual delinquents so I don’t get all this focus on side characters, even if they’re trying to focus on the plot. They should be able to write it in a way that is more balanced but I don’t see that happening, in the last few seasons in fact. I will watch mostly for Diyoza then, it looks like.

I guess it's similar to season 5 though, when it was mostly/all down in the bunker right?

If these spoilers are legit, can I just say that this sounds like the biggest and most boring sci-fi mess this show has ever attempted? Characters over plot. Good god, how hard is that to understand? Even though last season was set on a new planet, it still had some nostalgia. This, however, feels like it’s not even the same show as it was in season 1. And that’s really sad.

It’s the Hope Show now. And Glaia. Can’t forget good old Glaia, the ship that comes out of nowhere. I’m sorry, but even if some people here end up liking them, there is no denying that that is some BAD writing.

Has the show even confirmed Gaia’s sexual preference/sexuality? I just can’t picture a Clarke/Gaia pairing. Hoping they just develop a close friendship. Clarke deserves a close female friend.
