Why did people think he was still alive? Even if Luna wouldn't have drowned him, the black rain would have killed him. It would have been great but kind of illogical.

I didn't mean to offend anybody. While watching I was wondering whether there would be a sudden magical moment, where Roan would suddenly get strong and emerge out of the water and just kill Luna or that Octavia would save him. But yeah both of those scenarios were unrealistic but it's still tv, so. But I thought the episode made it finale but who knows what the writers have up their sleeve.

I thought he was for sure dead too but then the episode description for the finale made me second guess it a little. Wishful thinking, I suppose. His death was the only one where he could feasibly/maybe survive (compared to Illian/Luna who were both shot at/stabbed) but yeah, it would still be pretty unrealistic if he did survive.

He signed as a regular this season, which means his name is going to be in the credits, descriptions, cast list on IMDb, whether or not he's actually in the episode.

Unless they're really playing us, and he magically survives another fake-out death (last time it was one bullet to his chest, this time it was 2 serious slash wounds to his stomach, one of which looked deep+drowning), then they might remove his name from episode descriptions closer to the episodes, but removing names before the actual death would be possibly spoiling that something happened to the characters. I think they can remove his name now though?

His last episode on imdb is Die All, Die Merrily but imdb can't always be trusted. Who knows what is going to happen but I don't think he's going to be back.

Apparently Although the writers have always said that once someone dies, they stay dead (unless they're Octavia LOL but she wasn't really dead, I know).
