Now I’m thinking that the sparring is going to be about Echo and I’m less excited because I don’t want to see Bellamy stand up for Echo. But at the same time, I would like to believe that Bellamy is a good boyfriend, so I guess I’ll just have to watch it with that in mind.

so I have not seen the promo but obvs I know from s05 overall trailer about the sparring scene.

Reflecting on how the Blakes operate, I love that the writers made this a physical confrontation as opposed to only an argument. The Blakes are both so physical and it's in line with the bunker's "justice system" where people had to fight (albeit for their lives) to settle "wrongdoing".

Ooh, excellent point, Kate.

This fits in terms of who they are and the system that is in place in the bunker. Also fitting since they're back in the bunker when it happens.

I would be very disappointed of Bellamy if he wouldn't stand up for Echo

I expect Bellamy to stand up for himself AND Echo, but given that his issues with Octavia began way before the Becho relationship, I really want the Blakes to hash out all their unresolved feelings/issues first and foremost.

I have an interesting analysis to share later, might not be the easiest read if you're a Blake fan but certainly a lot of interesting points.
