Yes, agreed. So much happiness in one episode, shocking.

Paula, I agree to some extent about the Pilot being the last happy moment for these characters and it made me giggle too but it's also sad of course ... they've never had anything but misery mostly after that.

Alexa:

Season 3 things got even worse. I barely remember any of his storylines and of course we all know what happened to him later in the season. He didn't deserve to die, especially not in that horrific way. And not only that but his death seemed fairly brushed over and no one even seemed to mourn him. It was just a crappy way to treat the character.

How Ricky/Lincoln was treated was a travesty, SMH. Forever bitter that Lincoln was given the shaft and essentially sidelined for most of season 3 until he was killed off. I think that the show has done a decent job re: Octavia mourning him but not the others. He was a character from season 1 and FOR SURE deserved heck of a lot better.

Plus I think he was an interesting character and had a lot more story left to tell, despite what the writers said about it. I miss seeing him on my screen and he's the only dead character I actually truly miss.

He's not the only dead character that I miss but he's the one I miss the most.

Lincoln was such a good soul
but he was mostley treatened bad
by the sky people, by the grounders and in Mount Weather
and then his senseless tragic death...
he really deserves better

It's still completely gutwrenching to me how he died ... he was the most peaceful, good person so for him to die in that manner,
it was unforgivable. It was unnecessarily graphic and harked back to RL depictions of POC deaths which makes it even harder to watch.
He died with dignity in the sense that he died protecting his people but it was still a horrible, horrible way to die and I'll never be over
it. And worse still, that Octavia had to watch the man she loved dying that way was horrendous and heartbreaking as well.
