First off, I'm a little late to the party, but I want to say a huge Congratulations to the Bellarke 200th Thread!!!

I went to have a look at the Celebration Post and everyone involved did such an amazing job with it. It's beautiful!

Thank you for the time and effort you all put in! It's very much appreciated!

Although, for some reason, I'm actually feeling sorry for Echo this season. I do feel like there has been more Bellarke scenes than Bellamy/Echo scenes, so I kind of feel bad for her. I know when it comes to JRoth, anything goes, but I'm paying more attention to the camera shots and I do feel like Bellarke is painted everywhere compared to Bellamy/Echo.

Yeah I questioned that line myself whether it's just trailer-bait, but hopefully it does get used.

In regards to whether Bellamy was looking at Clarke dancing:- Again, I'm paying more attention to camera shots, and I do believe that Bellamy was watching her, imo. It was subtle for sure, so that it can be left to interpretation and JRoth can deny deny deny if he needs to.

But they wouldn't have chucked him in the middle of Clarke's scene if it wasn't to show the viewers something important, and to me, it was to show us seeing him watching Clarke, especially when the camera panned straight from her to him. Of course I would have liked a better reaction from him seeing her looking amazing in that dress, but we can't have everything. And again, JRoth doesn't want to spill the tea all at once.

If Bellamy was just watching everyone, he would be looking around, taking in the whole scene, but no, he was fixated in looking in one direction only. And when he turned to look at Echo when she said 'Hey' to him, why the need to look back to the dance floor straight after? What was the point of that? If it wasn't to look back at something he couldn't keep his eyes off? He should have instead just forgotten whatever he was watching the second he laid eyes on his girlfriend.

And if some people think Bellamy looked phased out, he wouldn't have immediately responded to the "Hey". As well as again, not looked back to the dance floor.
If him being at the party was just to have a convo with Echo, it could have happened before Clarke entered the party.

Anyway, my two cents.

I’m used to strong reactions on chapters like this, so it’s okay. I mean, if it didn’t generate a strong reaction, that would mean my writing had no impact, and I wouldn’t want that.

My reaction to that chapter is to breath and try to not be angry with you! I trust that you'll fix it all and give us the happy ending we all read fics for.

and I think that you made a lot of good points there.

It could still be bait but it doesn’t change the fact that the shots are deliberately focusing on Bellarke way more than Becho. And even in the scene where Bellamy and the others left for the ship, they could have shown Clarke looking out and the camera panning to all of them, but instead the shot focused on Bellamy alone. As if they were only looking at each other there.
