It's confusing since she said it after they had filmed the season so it's not like she didn't know there wasn't going to be Bellarke stuff.

Sometimes, scenes are filmed just so TPTB can see what works and figure out the final cut though. Maybe they filmed some scenes but ultimately decided against airing them?

I don’t know if we’re getting our hopes up by thinking that, but . . . we did get a VERY early season 6 renewal, which would have allowed time for things to be changed.

Kate, I honestly think that it was not something 100% romantic which was cut out but maybe finally a scene which explicitly shows that either one of them has feelings for the other and then that leads into season 6. I don’t know, it should still be aired anyway.

If that is the case.

I'm convinced this transpired. It's the only thing that makes sense.

I guess the good news is IF true... there was an intention to end them romantically and it's probably not off the table, just delayed. We'll get it eventually, just not now since the show was renewed and we don't know how long it'll last. I assume Jason will keep giving us "gray" scenes until then.

I don’t know, the realistic part of me doubts they filmed something else, but this other part of me just feels like, with what Lindsey said . . . there’s just something weird surrounding that finale, and I can’t quite put my finger on it.
