I will admit that Phoebe is my least favourite FRIEND but I know a lot of people who like her the best so they more than balance me out. I especially disliked her character in the episode where she tried to teach Joey how to play the guitar. She was SO mean to sweet Joey.

That said, however, I DID start to like Phoebe better after the scene in the hospital when she told Ross to talk to Rachel because there is a possibility that he could end up with everything he's wanted since he was 15. That was a very poignant moment indeed.

I would still root for Joey and Rachel (rather than Ross and Rachel) but it did show a kinder, gentler side of Phoebe that one hardly sees.

Oh, that's right, she was who made him realize that he has to go for Rachel anyhow, and really I liked it so much. She helped him many times and vice versa, that played so good for this friendship.

I agree with you! And like Melissa said, it is a classic, not only of Phoebe and Ross, but of Friends

I was watching TOW The Mugging yesterday. I adore that Ross and Phoebe have a connection that goes way back. All be it not the greatest connection, but a connection none the less.
