You have a point there.

Erica was always so well dressed on "V".

One of the few things that stayed consistent on the show.
They weren't always flawless with the make-up/hair choices, though.

I think, and I've notice this in photoshoot sessions, too, that sometimes they go too "severe" with the eye make up on her, and personally I don't think it works too well.
I do find her super hot with some "dramatic" eye make up, but it's a fine line to cross .

That's true, but I think nothing will ever beat the eye make up from the Breakthrough awards. That was bloody awful.

Yes. I would have liked to have some of Erica's leather jackets. They were fantastic.

I could be wrong but it seems like that make up was the same as one of her photoshoots around that time (maybe the one with where she's vacuuming?)...I remember thinking she must have just kept the makeup from the photoshoot on for the event that night...although the hair and dress were not from the photoshoot. Pretty much a disaster, regardless.

I remember the shot (there was a blurry one with the make-up all smeared, also) - she didn't have that black look in the rest of the pics, though.
That eye make-up works much better with the black gown choosen for the photoshoot, than the retro look she sported at the awards event. Or maybe it's just that the photoshoot pics were taken either from a far, or blurred, so the mess wasn't evident in all its "glory."

The bad and dress are something you would wear for a super carefree stroll close to the beach... I can only guess it got chilly later in the day and she stole a construction worker's shirt to put on and keep warm.
