Liz taking part in one the activies organized at C.J.'s school, last March 19:

In a schoolwide event, kindergarteners through fifth graders from The Island School trekked from one end of Bainbridge Island’s Battle Point Park to the other today in an “artistic pilgrimage” as part of an intensive study of Spain this month. [...] Afterward, the entire student body performed a Spanish folktale involving a butterfly and a host of creatures. The butterfly was played by Island School parent and Hollywood actor Elizabeth Mitchell and the narrator by her husband Chris Soldevilla, who teaches popular improv classes on the Island. Well-known children’s author and Island School librarian George Shannon also hammed it up in the play, along with several Island School teacher thespians.
