I was doing yet another rewatch The moment Stefan kissed Caroline I wanted him to drop the wine bottle he was holding. Just so he could cuff her face with both hands or something. But then it might have obstructed the pretty silhouette of their faces. As it is of course the kiss was perfect, that entire sequence is Just a thought

When I was watching the kiss I was wondering what happened to the bottle Then I saw it. I like that he continued holding it. It made the kiss feel even more spontaneous and natural. Like Candice said it wasn't an aggressive, dramatic moment but simple. And I wanted their transition into romance to feel like a simple, natural change without it feeling like they were in a completely different dynamic. Am I even making sense?

No you are making perfect sense Everything about the scene felt spontaneous and natural. While I was thinking 'now drop the bottle.. cuff her face ' as they were kissing it makes more sense for him to keep holding the bottle with him probably feeling nervous as hell(they both are). He's kissing her, it's a life changing moment. Letting go of the bottle is the last thing on his mind. He probably doesn't even know he's still holding it, with him being consumed by the kiss. Now that you said it most times the common thing is for a guy to cuff a girls face with both hands. So him doing so with just one hand makes it special. The shipper in me just likes to imagine different scenarios I can't wait to see their fluff and cute scenes
