I could see Jo dumping Alaric if he steals the ascendant from her, but I'm sure once she finds out he was compelled to do it, she'll forgive him.....and then turn her anger towards Damon.

I could see Jo taking things at face value, if we wouldn't have seen her putting things together about Alaric and Elena being vampires. She seems pretty smart.
So my hope is whatever Alaric does bc of compulsion she will figure it out and kick Damon's ass  __________________
