I don't trust the writers to make it right at this point. They've been acting like HE don't exist all this season and now Hayley is dead and probably for good. I just don't know anymore.

To be honest I was never a fan of them but could appreciate them. I know that Elijah was compelled but still it was one step too far. Their afterlife meet up would be "I'm sorry, I'm the one who let you be killed". It was very cruel on the writers part for Elijah to be a part oh Hayley's death.
