Williamson eventually left Dawson's Creek is that correct? Do you think it's because of Dawson and Joey failing?

Yeah he left after the 4th season I think? Don't quote me. Could be, who knows.

He left after season 2, which is why Pacey/Joey happened in season 3 which was actually the best thing to happen to that show. They definately saved the show, which was going downhill, lol. I have no idea why he left but I do know if he never left, Pacey/Joey might never have happened, which makes me scared for VD.

hmmm interesting. Thanks Ada!

The only thing that worries me is that the book summaries were SO kick ass, but they've already softened up Elena for tv and made her more bland and nice, that I'm worried they will do the same with the overall plots etc.

But Damon certainly didn't seem to be toned down, so that gives me hope!
