If they want DErs to watch it, they have to give us small things to stand this too

Yes that's true...the sirebond was introduced as a cliffhanger. I don't think it will be "zero DE".

I hardly think there will be "zero DE", it'll be just angsty and not happy as Damon and Elena would have hoped for after his return He'll probably try to stay next to her... or he'll focus on general problems, same with her, but they'll have to work together, they won't be able to avoid each other forever

If you think about the spoilers we got during Comic Con it sounded like we definitely would get a little more DE than just 2 episodes. I think, we will see a lot of angst and longing, maybe the compulsion doesn`t work and Elena starts slowly to remember him.

The writers said that they found a way to maintain DE's love story. So I don't think it will end after 6x02. Maybe less scenes, but not entirely nothing.

Honstly,I`m glad that Elena is happy again, even if it`s fake. The first 2 episodes were hard to watch and I need a little time to let them sink in. So, this compulsion storyline is a little like a breather before the drama begins again.

They can't let Nina cry for 7 (??) episodes. That poor woman will be out of tears. And people will grow tired of it. But Elena can't do anything right of course: she is either "whiny" or "giving up too soon".

Yeah, that's true I don't want to see her crying anymore for now, only tears of happiness when she'll remember and Damon will be back Don't know how much "happy" she'll be in the end, it'll be more about thinking to be happy than being happy itself, I really think they'll play the "I feel like something is missing" card and that will shadow her life again But it's a great SL in my opinion

Yeah and I think she'll be confused too, like Caroline said. Not only did Alaric took away Damon, but also alot of happy moments...that gave her strenght. Maybe she'll feel more lonely.

Since 5x22 it`s basically nonstop crying for Nina, she really needs a break from that.

What I also loved about the scene when Elena told Ric about the moment she fell in love with Damon, is the way Damon showed all his pain and longing without saying one single word.

It was very well-made, the contrast of them in the two worlds, her letting go, him staying strong... and yet they were soo lonely, so broken, they must miss each other so much
