A FOX exec has said that Glee might transition fully to New York next year. I really hope that an outside project does well enough for Matt to not have to rely on Glee as much.

Do you think that he could squeeze in filming a movie this summer or would he put 100% into album promotion?

I think Matt(and really most of the adult cast) will be fine without "Glee." He could even go back to Broadway.

So I was watching Matt's "It's Today" performance from the Kennedy Center Honors from 2010, and I have to ask. Was that song pre-recorded or was it actually live? I didn't see a mic on him that some of the other performers had, so I'm just curious. Does anyone know for sure?

There is a small black microphone suck to the top right hand corner of his forehead just under the hair line. You can also hear him embellishing slightly into the mic.

This came up because I was reading a thread about that show on another forum, and when it aired people definitively said the song was pre-recorded. Maybe like me they just thought a piece of his hair was out of place? LOL

I certainly wouldn't hold it against him if the song was pre-recorded given how much dancing there was in the performance.

It was live. You can even hear his breathing.
