I don 't get why so many people are convinced that Renee is just using Matt to further her career, and that she's a bad influence on him. Where is the evidence for any of that? IMO, we haven't seen/heard enough from her to make any kind of real judgment.

It's frustrating. One, if you're a fan of Matthew, you want him happy, and he looks happy with Renee. And two, I'd like to assume he's not an idiot, and wouldn't accept a relationship where he's being used as a puppet. Ugh.

I like her. She's pretty and they look happy.

I agree with you. He definitely looks happy with Renee, and so far I personally haven't seen any evidence that he's changed for the worse. Since he's been with her, a lot of his "fans" have turned on him, and that frustrates me.

^ Really? Wow Everybody deserves to find love, Fans should be happy if Matthew has found somebody who makes him happy.

Glee will start shooting season 4 in a few weeks. The WEMMA wedding Should happen around November then hopefully a Baby.

Absolutely. He is a 33 year old man who has had his share of relationships. He is attractive, talented and a decent guy. It is not like he is desperate for a beautiful girl to be with him and can't spy a fame whore especially after they have been together a year.

It also upsets them that he didn't bring her out into the spotlight right away, kept saying he was "single" when he wasn't and at one point quite far into their relationship he denied dating her. They don't seem to realize that he is in the public eye and would like to have a private life that isn't spoiled by tabloids, paps, and overly nosy fans so he had to keep it under the radar. Plus, there is also those few unhinged souls out there who think they have a chance with him....I mean if he came knocking on my door and said he had to have me I'd be all over him like a cheap suit but that is never gonna happen!

I think his fans should be more concerned with that odd facial hair configuration he has going on....I find it unflattering and too hipster. Buzz cut needs to stay.

New relationships are so fragile. When they met Matt had allready unfortunatly allready faced the bad side of fame and the tabloids. The fact that they hid it for about a year tells me that they actually took the reationship seriously and wanted to get to know each other and somewhat comit before taking it public. Look what poor Matt had to face with that tabloid stuff with Paltrow and Kelly Brook. Renee had to be prepared and the relationship needs to be strong enough to handel those kind of challenges.

Amen to all this post. (Except for the buzz cut and facial hair bit. I love it, but I also miss the curls, and I don't mind the facial hair.
