Yeah, the first episode of Ari. Bete Noire definitely was not my favorite. Given there is no new episode in sight. I am probably going to do a series rewatch very soon. So many episodes with so many different eras.
I liked Gerald. But Jimmy livened the role of Ducky's sidekick more. __________________

 I think the 1st season had many experimental episodes. Gerald was great, but Ducky & Palmer had a better connection overall. One of the other episodes that stayed with me is the one with the amnesic woman, who was more of a sociopath... __________________

I feel like that episode was the first taste of the show not using a usual formula. It also started the Ari storyline. So it stands out for that but not necessarily the best episode either.

Definitely not the best, but the most shocking & the one which has changed the course of the show...
Ari sort of defined what made NCIS different from all the rest of the shows... __________________
