A very enjoyable episode!
Loved Gibbs with Dex the dog won me over the min he lay his head on his boss chest after he was killed! enjoyed the actress who played Ruby aswell and all her scene's with Gibbs. Its always fun watching Tony and McGee get chased by dogs I think at the end Vance finally found his nanny The last shot at the chemetry where Dex and Ted's widow sitting by the coffin brought tears in me eye's But from the start I knew Gibbs would do everything to let the widow keep Dex. Michael did a great job directing this episode __________________

Michael did a fantastic job directing this episode!
The storyline is sadly believable. Dex was a wonderful pup that stole the episode for me. I've seen a lot of love for Dex on other sites already. Ruby was fantastic. Vance having a difficult time finding a nanny was so heartbreaking. Ziva and his discussion about it was beautifully done. In the end I think he found the perfect nanny for his kids. She said all the right things. Everything he need to be assured on came right out of her mouth. She is going to be there for his kids, but she won't take over the role of their mother. Ziva's searching for Bodnar. Not surprising and has been hinted at already and will come up again. There were so many great things about this episode that I can't even list them all! I love the end when Dex was returned to Ruby. I'm not at all surprised that was the way things turned out. Even if he hadn't been shot I was sure that Gibbs would get him back for her. "That's not a dog. That's a Marine!" Oh, extra tidbit from Michael's live tweet with the episode last night... The dog who played Dex is actually named Dexter in real life so calling for him wasn't a confusing thing on set. Wonderful episode! __________________

This episode was so good.
Michael did an awesome job directing! Everything that's been said already - yes. Things I would have said. Tony and the movie references. So funny that McGee knew what that one guy was talking about when he said they had 4 seconds to get off his property. Love how he locked the door on Tony That last scene though omg. I started crying when Gibbs showed up with Dex. I also didn't have any doubt that Gibbs would find a way to let Ruby keep Dex. And I am with you Andy, Dex definitely stole the episode for me too. This episode made me think... what happened to Jethro the dog? Wonder what McGee did with him. __________________

Great episode
I was so touched by both Cote's and Rocky's acting once more. Their scene in the office was just... SO emotional, and so touching. And so well played I loved bits and pieces of the episode, like Abby bringing McGee coffee, the Tony/McGee/dogs scene (Tony hanging his head inside the car from the roof window because McGee had locked the doors ), the little Abby/Ziva scene we got... you know, just the team interacing with each other. The dog playing Dex is just super cute, I immediately fell in love with him I guess I would have started crying too at the last scene, but in the middle of it my phone started ringing and my mom called The storyline itself was so sad, but I was relieved to see the dog lived in the end Oh, Jethro the dog! We recently wondered where he went too. He hasn't been mentioned anymore in forever __________________

Abby taking McGee coffee was hilarious because of the look on Tony's face.
Yeah, I wish they would have brought it up in this episode like just a quick mention of what happened to him since Tony was basically making fun of McGee about being scared of dogs at one point __________________

I know, the look on Tony's face was priceless during the coffee scene
It would have been a great time to mention Jethro the dog again, that's true. Oh I really want gifs of them running away from the dogs __________________
