thanks for the thread.
don't like sloan very much, so I hope it is not too sloan-centric. |

Anyway, sorry to be negative...I love every other character in the show...and I'm anxious to hear everyone's thoughts about the episode, but all I can say right now is that I hope they eliminate Sloan...I really don't care for her at all...she ruins the show for me every time. Otherwise, it was a pretty good episode as far the the story line! And too, like Liv said in her comments regarding the previous episode, I too am glad they keep bringing Ziva into the story line. I feel like she's just got to show up at some point...hopefully. Jenny |

I feel like Bishop was trying to figure out if Gibbs knows about Ziva.

I wasn't overly impressed with this episode. Don't have much to say about it.
I knew Bishop was going to take over that space Ziva had rented. I like that she did that. That is what I thought as well Johnnie. __________________

It wasn't one of the best episodes, but it wasn't one of the worst either.
didn't make me like sloan more though. she totally overexaggerated everything. I can understand her feelings and and that of her daughter too, but it was totally unnecessary to talk like that to gibbs. liked kasie saying: first I have torres going swan now I have you (Jimmy) going mallard. Quote:

I didn't mind this episode the case on its own was a good case .
I like Sloane as w character but yeah I was like zip it sloane, you can't say one thing and do another. I like this ziva storyline it brings a new excitement to it, so bishop asking Gibbs was a nice hint . The new Gibbs throwing out rule 10 he is changing and that's interesting cause he isn't over protective dad anymore . Ps the green papers __________________

Torres's 'inner swan' talk
Nice that he then wants to put his energy into trying to bring Bishop's plant back to life. When are those two going to realise that they like each other? of course they make Jack's daughter being the only witness. Interesting that Jack knew where her daughter worked though given she gave her up... Love Gibbs & Vance dancing around both knowing why Jack wanted to recuse herself . Not surprised that really she did end up being in the room though Oh look, Bishop understands the 'go swan' thing... come on you two, notice things :head_slap: Plant clearly is from Ziva's place... figured that from the start but seeing as it was dead for years even more reason for it to be from there then... Bishop is clearly trying to see what Gibbs knows about Ziva. Completely agree with what was said already about that. I don't think there was any other possibility for that conversation, she seemed to straight out ask him to me without of course saying Ziva's alive. Please don't let this all be leading up to nothing Go Faith. Sorry Jack but she's right, if those are the things you said to her adoptive mother then she has every right to feel this way. This is not how you do it if you want to change your mind. There are better & proper channels to follow. You can't go sit outside her door & be protective, that's not your place. You gave up the right to play the protective mother when you gave up being a mother. As hard as it is, you've got to see it from her side I need more McGee in this episode. At least he had a fun line about Gibbs' gut though I'm sorry but sending Torres in by himself was completely unprofessional? Even if he didn't shoot the guy & it just got some of his 'swan' out Gibbs shouldn't have done that "I've got one with a swan, I've got one with a kid, & I've got one with a plant." Love the talk between Gibbs & McGee Based on the comments in this thread I was expecting Jack to go off at Gibbs but I didn't see that in the ep? She got defensive because she knew Gibbs found out the truth & no she should've have spoken that way but I didn't see it as being that bad? No worse than anyone else has in the past, Gibbs included? __________________

Hopefully they've learned that fans didn't like what happened with Tiva so they'll do better & actually put Bishop & Torres together eventually . But track record makes me not want to have too much hope that this will they or won't they will turn into anything

It was a great episode, though Sloan was so out of line... I mean I get it, she's more on an equal level with Gibbs than the rest, but still she messed it up big time...
Then we had the "inner swan" and the "plant-discussions" to keep us busy... Loved Torres' assessment about situations like this, and he was correct to wake up/scare the kid in order to make him conscious about his doings... Bishop's "plant-discussion" with Gibbs was spot on, but sort of funny... She was trying to figure out what Gibbs knew and she so wanted to share the secret with him... I had a feeling that Bishop is not going to move Ziva's things out of the office, she was actually "moving in". Loved the discussion about hope which stays with you... And we'd see that Gibbs is struggling without Rule #10, but hopefully he will get used to it |
