NCIS: New Orleans 1.10 - "Stolen Valor" Original Airdate: December 16, 2014 @ 9PM (Sorry I can't find a video at the moment) Episode Summary The NCIS team investigate the murder of a retired Navy SEAL who tracked down people impersonating military personnel. The chief suspect is found with the Navy jacket of an officer believed to have died in the line of duty in Afghanistan. Meanwhile, Brody discovers the normally holiday-obsessed Lasalle is strangely unenthusiastic about Christmas. Source __________________

Thanks for the thread.
Wonder why LaSalle isn't excited. Maybe it has something to do with bis brother. |

ok. This business of copying storylines (or at least their topics) is getting way too obvious now. We just had a similar, related story on LA.
Nuwanda: What did I miss about LaSalle's big brother? |

Wanted to write "his" brother. Don't know if it is his big brother.
A few episodes ago LaSalle was looking for a brother, but couldn't find him. He didn't seem very happy about it so i am just thinking he has something to do with laSalle's "dislike" of Christmas. |

Sounds kinda interesting.
That could be why LaSalle isn't excited, nuwanda. Maybe it's because It's what I would have thought as well. I agree Toni. That was one of the things I was worried about is the show kinda copying similar storylines from the other shows. I think that's why I am getting bored of it possibly. __________________

Steph: I still haven't had time to watch the episode but I'm hoping that it's just the generic topic that is borrowed and that the episode itself is way different. The drones topic was the same but the episodes were way different. Let's hope.

when Lasalle was his calling mum i thought this had something to do with his christmas issues.
looks like Lasalle not only has a great interaction with/brody but with all women. i think the ep had a good subject, but in my opionion it felt a little slow - not bad - like the authors couldn't decicde wether to do a lasalle- or a missing marine story.... What disorder was lasalle’s brother diagnosed with? listened to that scenes for a few times but didn't get it. the zach-story was good for Lasalle: he should not give up either. liked the scene at the end: "Was that a compliment?" " I could take it back." |

Ok, so glad they didn't copy that impostor storyline from LA. It was similar, but reversed and wasn't the main focus of the episode - which I liked.
I liked how that case, led to the case of Zach - who was MIA. Glad that they tracked Zach down and brought him home safe. Glad that LaSalle found where his brother is located now. Hopefully he does get to see him. nuwanda, I think they said his brother was bipolar. __________________

Good episode. I'm glad it wasn't a clone of the LA episode. It was totally different.
Yes. LaSalle's brother Cade was diagnosed with BiPolar disorder. I hope he finds him and they can reunite him with his family. That'll probably be a thread running through future episodes for a while. I did like the end. While I thought Brody and LaSalle might become a "thing", I'm liking Brody and (uggg what IS her name) too. I liked that ending. Last edited by Toni Boop; 12-25-2014 at 04:41 AM |

Even a anonymous 911 call would have been better for Len Bowers to make then what he do to let William "Bud" Samuel's die. "Separate G.I.Joe's from G. I . Foes". Girlfriend Trish Parker was a hand full. "Backwoods Barbie" and "Bonnie and Clyde" were fun nicknames. I liked Brodie's talk to her. For Trish taking off on the motorcycle and helping Bowers excape she was caught pretty easily. And the take down was good by LeSalle and Brody. I liked LaSalle and Brody talking "Good Cop, Bad Cop" on the Trish interrogation, and Brody said "Girl Cop" and got her to admit he headed for Mexico. Nice old GMC truck he was driving. Glad it wasn't wrecked. Bowers story of trying 3 times to enlist and couldn't, doesn't let him off from pretending to be a a soldier. But he didn't buy a supposedly dead guys jacket on purpose. If he'd only called 911 on Bud!
I felt bad for Sebastian, he was talking to King and he didn't want to hear about his personal life, only the case. I was glad that Businessman Hameed Azizi was not a terrorist or a criminal. I did like how the jacket of Zach "Taz" Chase went around from Len Bowers, who bought it from Hameed Azizi, who bought it from Sami who got it in Afghanistan. The rescue of Zach was nice. The cell phone parts in the hole did make me think he was crafting bomb detonators or helping them in some way. When he was saved from the camp he reminded me in that beard of Marty Deeks from NCIS:Los Angeles, lol. It was to bad that Soldier Taylor Sands could not be with Zach Chase at the hospital when the team went to visit him. I liked how Marshal Chase thanked Pride. I enjoyed both Addie and Meredith talked about Chris and his dislike for the Christmas Holiday. It is to bad his family had so many problems at the Holiday. I think that Chris LeSalle and Adele Watkins should get together. They may kid each other but there is a big like there. "Letkins" or "WatSalle" would make a good pair. Brody and Pride will go check the carolers. Nice that Watkins came back to check on LaSalle. Watkins didn't want to ruin LaSalle's "Scrooge Cred"! Maybe they will check out the square also. It is also interesting that LaSalle found his brothers name out. He had changed last name to mom's maiden name, Cade Lambert. He was an All- American in high school, then got problems. I wonder if he and Watkins will go and try to find him? Last edited by webruce; 12-26-2014 at 12:44 AM Reason: spelling errors. |
