Yea the title doesn't fit but for me tbh haven't been that impressed at all with LA still better than 11A where I feel like its very all over the place -- half the time we don't even know what crime has happened or the purpose of the crime

I may feel differently once I finally watch 12.05 and 12.06 but wasn't impressed with the first 4 episodes

Watched this last night. At the hospital near the beginning, did anyone notice Roundtree saying the guy had made it through the surgery and they thought he was going to make it, and then less than a minute later saying he had a TBI and they weren't sure he was going to make it

I rewound it to check it had actually happened because that's kind of a massive oversight script-wise, and it did.

I didn't realize it... But then again, I didn't really pay that much attention to this episode in overall...

But yes, it's a noticeable mistake script-wise

Looking up a transcript I found these lines which also seemed a bit off -

Well, hopefully, this guy'll pull through. He can tell us just what the hell he was up to. Unfortunately, he's still in the ER. He was still in critical condition last time I checked. They need to get him into surgery, but he's not stable enough to move yet.

He's in the ER but also needs to go into surgery there but then next thing we know he's out of surgery & you have your lines which were within the one conversation it looks like -

Donald Harris is out of surgery. They were able to stop the bleeding, and they think he's gonna pull through. Well, that's great. I needed some good news. Yeah, I don't... I don't know how good it actually is. Well, if he survives, he can tell us what's going on here. Yeah, well, unfortunately, he suffered a traumatic brain injury, and they don't know if he's gonna pull through.

The whole thing is a bit weird. It is like they didn't actually know what they wanted to do to that character. But it also seems like they haven't read over it to check it makes sense or checked that what they're saying is feasible. But having one conversation which contradicts itself within minutes is bad. How did no one pick up on that?

Someone should have proof-read the script before saying okay... But maybe they had to change the script last minute because of restrictions...
