Episode Summary
A 14 year old foils a home invasion but Gibbs suspects the teen is
withholding pertinent details. Meanwhile, Vance and Senior FBI agent
Fornell travel to London to investigate a case involving an escaped
British spy. Later, First Lady Michelle Obama welcomes Gibbs to the
White House for a "Joining Forces" roundtable with military spouses.

don't know what to make of it so far, but it looks very dramatic.
description says fornell is back and i read somewhere trent kort as well - looked like he was the guy in the promo with tony,

I don't get it either Chelle, it does sound random. I am curious to see how it comes about. But reading what the roundtable is it sounds great.

This episode wasn't as good as I thought it would be.

I liked the diner scene in the beginning with McGee/Bishop/Abby/Ducky then Gibbs showing up and drinking the coffee

Hahaha Fornell asking why Gibbs never responded to his snapchat ;rotfl:

And him talking about Tony in London and all the Bond references he must be making

The Joining Forces round table scene was really good. I love when they put awareness for the military and veterans in the show

WOW! Was not expecting that ending!!! I hope Fornell makes it! I was so shocked by what happened! How the heck did who ever it was that shot Jessica and Fornell know that they were going to Gibbs' house? Whoever is leaking info is close to the team it seems...

The agency sure does seem to have a lot of moles

Missed seeing Tony : I guess we better start getting used to it.

And whoa! Someone's is looking for Ziva in the next episode!!! Arg wish they could have brought her back. I don't care what has been said, they could be tricking us all and just not letting it out that she will appear I will hope until the end of the finale.

Agree. While I understand that they have to work on setting up his departure, and the team dynamic without Tony, it's unfortunate that he's been so scarce the past few episodes.

agreed with what has been said about the ep so far.

liked all the scenes too and i hope fornell is going to make it. he is no main character, but as far as i know he is very well liked by a lot of fans (including me) and it would a another great loss for the show.

that was coming to my mind as well, but

1. don't think that is something Michael Waetherly would like to happen to tony and i still think he had a say in all this.

2. according to what you read tony has farewell scenes with everyone. don't think they would let him have them if he was the mole.
3. glasberg said "Tony really has to make some really significant decisions, big enough that would pull him away from his NCIS family. That was really the challenge of all this, and in thinking about it for the last six months, is how do we come up with something that's big enough that would have Tony no longer be a part of this group? And hopefully the fans and the audience will find that satisfying." don't think being the mole is satisfying....

missed tony very much but i hope we will see him again next ep. don't want a departure like ziva had: two eps without the character and the third ep with just a few minutes.
but at least we now know what "life without tony" looks like: and i don't like it.



@steph: did i miss the "looking for ziva thing" or did you watch the next promo????

Oh, that would definitely make things interesting if they did make him the mole, but I don't think he is.

I wonder if Tony will be going into Witness protection? It's a crazy idea, but TVLine has their annual sweeps scorecard and that was one of the categories (but they removed it recently for some reason) on there and with what you posted above made me think of it

It was in the promo for next week Gibbs is asking/yelling at someone why they are looking for Ziva.

haven't seen that, but it might be an option then.
the downside is tony can't come back for a visit and he won't be able to be in contact with any of the team - that would break abby's heart

then that is why i didn't know about it - haven't seen any promo for next week yet.

1. there are a lot of thoughts at the moment, but i think we won't know until may 17th

I like the team eating together & thyen Gibbs has coffee when Abby insists he has something since breakfast is important. Of course Abby wants to celebrate life & have the team have a party when she dies. That's Abby & where she (& Pauley) grew up coming through I think

Fornell & Vance working together. That's got to be interesting & was not expecting Vance to go out in the field but not surprising he would after Morrow was killed

Gibbs used hashtag in a sentence I think I missed what Abby was talking about with living rocks but that line & Gibbs using hashtag was fun

this episode really isn't as interesting as it could be all I'm thinking is if Tony will appear at all tbh (another thread I never read)

The Whitehouse/Michelle Obama bit makes more sense now that I see it. It is nice that they have those roundtables to help the military families & that the show showed them (I presume they're real)

Gibbs house is a floating safe house - I like that

The ending though - don't like that so much poor Fornell & worse for poor Emily who was calling & he couldn't reach the phone. I'm sure the first person she'd call is Gibbs though & he'd be there in no time


& the promo for next week says 'Michael Weatherly's final two episodes' & I want to cry I'm not ready (& saying that makes me think of a Delta song which is called that & now I want to listen to that as it sort of fits as there are lyrics saying I'm not ready to say goodbye in it)
