Thanks, Hanna and Chelle. It took about an hour to get through to the Chinese takeaway on the phone. Then they told me it would take 40 minutes until it would be ready.
At least I knew that so I didn't have a long wait in the shop. I hope the animals were OK, Hanna. __________________

That sounds quite the adventure Julie
Hope that the food was still worth all the trouble  Chelle, yep anyone can use fireworks everywhere over here...  The dog spent the night locked with me in a room, at midmight, when it was the worst she was shaking in the corner of the room with a fast beating heart. Our cat wasn't handling it any better... but at least the next 360 and some days shouldn't include an excess use of fireworks... Anyways : Happy New Year to everyone __________________

Poor animals
 I get that it is the new year bit it really isn't necessary to have the excessive fireworks. Shame just anyone can set them off. That would make it so much worse One thing I do like about Australia is that it is illegal to buy them here without a permit so less likely to get them randomly. Although we thought we heard some set off between Christmas & New Years  . One of the nights we had to let the dogs inside until it stopped because they were scared. They were shaking, sitting under a table near my sister & I. Hopefully the next 365 days don't include excessive fireworks where you are Hanna  Wow that is quite the wait. But at least once you got through they could give you the time for waiting for food |

Nice to hear that it was worth it
 I'm used to the Dutch and their tendency to have the sky completely foggy due to the fireworks... It always feels like being on the sea with pirate ships battling each other... But this year it was more difficult due to a puppy being qdded to the mixture Anyways, Monday ans last driving before the exam tomorrow is done. Wish me luck! Whatever happens, will happen. I'm not that stressed just now, but I'm still hoping that I can get the license... __________________

All I will say is next time... probably at a different exam location with a different instructor... I've been drivong fine, but my drivong was labelled "reckless" this morning... oh well...
But that's only going to be next year, if I decide to redo the theory... for the rest of 2023 I'm going to focus my energy on other things... __________________

I made my peace with it, as it was taking up too much of my mental capabilities...How's work this week for everyone? Mine is finally quiet enouvh, so thqt I can catch up on everything that I didn't have time to deal with in the madness of December... __________________
