I don't know why. All I know is that the dolls are named after the NATO phonetic alphabet (Echo, Sierra, Victor, etc.) They were going to have a character named November, but I think they cut her from the show at the last minute.

D'oh! For some reason, I just assumed Echo was gonna be the only featured doll, kinda like how Max was the only featured super-soldier on Dark Angel. Quote:
