Trying to watch videos on YouTube SUCKS on dial-up... Takes forever to load.

You can get one though I was reading online that they discontinued making them back in 2007 or something... went to the store and asked about it and they didn't have any. So if I want one it would probably be eBay.

I don't even look at youtube on dialup, I didn't even know they would ever load on dialup.

You basically have to pause the video, and go do something else while the loading bar is loading... and still it takes ages. I used to download 400 MB files on dialup... used to take about 24 hours straight.

When I had dial-up, it would play 2 seconds of a YouTube video and then a minute later, 2 more seconds, ect. And when I would wait a few minutes and then back it up to see if what it played so far would go faster, it just did what it did the first time again

So, I just avoided going there until I got faster internet.

Yeah, basically if you want to watch a video on dial-up let the page load and don't leave it if you want to watch it again or you'll have to go through the process again.

When it comes to dial up, it's better not to do anything that requires Video, Java or anything too heavy, cant handle it

Loading pages is bad enough.
Gosh i can't wait til i have broadband back!

Yeah, I remember how slow it was at times at my mom's place... just waiting for facebook games to load at times.
