Haha I was 11 I think when it came out and my parents took me, my sister (who was 9 at the time) and 2 of out friends to see it and when that part came all the sudden my Dad's hand was in front of my eyes

Jack and Rose were that movie. The boat was merely a backdrop for their love story.

I saw it the first time (in the theater) for Jack and Rose, and the 3 times after that I saw it for Jack and Rose.

There were hundreds of women on that boat, Jack could have "lusted" after any one of them. But he saw something in Rose, something special. And obviously it was meaningful to her because, even though she didn't have a picture of him, she remembered their story down to the last detail. In her life, she did all of the things that they talked about doing, and she took his last name.

He left an imprint on her life that far exceeded anything that "lust" could have ever produced.

awww that ending seen just gets me every time and how jack made rose promise to live her life i bawled like a baby when we saw old rose's pictures and especially the one of the horse by the rollercoaster he meant so much to her and when she said rose dawson i was like awwwwwww

I saw the movie with in 6th grade with my English class from school. I'm not sure the teacher knew what was going to happen in that backseat. Hahaha.

I remember I was 7 when I first watched it and the people who were watching with me were all under 15. I remember that we were watching the extended version of the movie. When it came to the part where Jack was about to draw Rose and she removes her robe, we all screamed "MANGOES!"

I am so glad I watched that movie again, 10 years later to fully understand it.
