 . It just goes to show you how much pressure there is for women to get married. It doesn't matter who you marry as long as you marry.__________________

Yeah. Maybe her friend would have been happier in the long run if she didn't get married. I mean spending her life with that guy will definitely take its toll at one point or another.
Isabelle was right in trying to prove that point: That even if she wasn't married to some guy, she would have been perfectly happy going to work everyday and hanging with her friends. Just living her life the way she wanted, not the way others tell her she should. |

Yeah, she got married but it was on her own terms. She didn't force herself to like the guy and marry him just because everyone is telling her it's time she does.
She met the guy, spent some time with him, fell for him and decided for herself that he was the one for her. |

Yeah I get that but I think they slightly changed the message at the end of the movie. At the beginning it was all about taking a stand and proving that she didn't need a man and reacting against the pressure that people have to get married, but during the actual ceremony it just sounded like it was about showing how she loved and respected herself.

Yeah, at the beginning she wanted to give the message that she loves herself enough to be happy without a man, but I guess it did have to change because she did find someone.
In both cases, it was that she loves herself enough to be able to do what she wants and not what others keep pressuring her to do, so I guess that's the part of her vow that remained the same |

Bill, LMAO yeah. When they were planning the whole wedding, it was hilarious, he was excited for the dresses and all the other stuff even more than she was
