I think its great how he is waiting also. But personally, if you felt someone was THE ONE it would be hard to walk away from them just because they aren't ready to say I love you. I do LOVE how he is being patient and not pushing her to say it like last time. I think that in itself shows how much he loves her and some growth on his part.

He truly believes she's the one. Now we just need to get Penny thinking along the same lines.

Yeah, he'll try his hardest to make it work even if he has to do more of the work, because he definitely thinks she's the one. She just needs to get over whatever is stopping her from realizing it, too.

I really feel that this season will open her eyes and heart a lot. Whether she says ILY or not she will definitely have to come to terms with how she feels this season.

Agreed. And I feel like the ILY has to come this season. Maybe late in the season, but to have the first two episodes focus on it so much and have the other characters so aware of it as well seems like it has to happen this time. Hopefully, anyway. Things look promising in terms of going in that direction.

I agree. I definitely think that it will happen this season. Hopefully they aren't throwing us a curve ball here. There has to be a reason that they have all been confronting her about the ILY specifically. I am just interested to see what will happen that will finally break down her walls to allow her to say it. She has said to everyone else, she needs to say it to him. Also can't wait to see Leonard's reaction. I have a feeling it may be the season finale. But hopefully we won't have to wait THAT long for it.

Yeah, they let it go (in terms of specifically talking about it) for pretty much the entire time between TWR and the end of season five. And now it's being thrown back out there. It has to happen this year.

And it has me so excited that they dove into right off that bat this season. When they said these two were going to be working through deeper issues, I was like, "Oh, that could cause the ILY to possibly come up!" but then it was like Bam! First episode, on the table! Second episode, it's still there! Third episode, we shall see!
