I found this article that talks about Johnny & Jim being the new "odd couple" in regards of the Emmy nominations. It is a pretty interesting article, it mentions that it is only the third time two actors from the same show are nominated as best lead actor

That's an interesting article. I wish it would also have said more about who contented against the other pairs that were nominated. Especially for the Odd Couple since they were nominated multiple times and I have no clue what shows were nominated back in the 70s.

Agreed. I think the last friendship moment we got in S4 was when they were playing Wii archery(or whatever it's called). I want more of that!

Last season I really liked on Herb Garden when Leonard tried Sheldon to admit he had slept with Amy & specially on The Engagement Reaction when Sheldon said "I love you so much" to Leonard, that was a totally awww moment

They don't need to get storylines necessarily, although that would be awesome, they just need enough to show us that they still spend time together.
