And I mean... A show centered around a genius child isn't anything new anyways. Of course there are different ways to do things, but I'd much rather see them try to do an original approach than piggyback off of Big Bang.

Agreed. Although (and I feel bad using this example replying to you but I'm gonna because it's the main thing I think of when it comes to this) it seems that just like with Harry Potter, if you've got something successful you'll milk your cash cow for whatever you can get.

Yup, that certainly seems to be the Hollywood age we're living in right now, given all how they make sequels, prequels, spin-offs and remakes of just about anything that is/was popular

Warner Bros I'm sure are milking HP for everything they can. JK Rowling I still believe is only releasing new material when she truly believes it's a story worth telling. So it's an odd balance.

Happy Chocolate is Discounted Tomorrow Day!

My poor kitty had to go to the vet yesterday for shots, she hates the crate, she hates shots, but she was her usual affectionate self when we got home. Last night we had to give her meds they prescribed (loose stool) and now she doesn't even want us to get near her and she's not eating. It breaks my heart because she normally cannot stand to be away from me and now she's so aloof.

Unfortunately more than a few treats makes her sick to her stomach, so we're working on lots of pets. But she's also sore from her rabies shot so she just kinda wants to be left alone.
