Showtime obviously benefits from people tuning in and getting them hooked to watch the sequel so I get it, but it's always nice to see them pushing something like this even though it's not technically their property.

So in Episode 3, the ATF just rolls in and starts shooting because they think they have weapons?? Basically the ATF was just shooting everyone that moved?

It's been awhile since I dove deep into what happened/theories of what happened. But I believe the ATF shot the dogs on site first and either the Davidians thought they were being shot at or thought that was enough to engage.

The ATF did have a warrant. The Davidians were very wary of the government and how they would perceive or attempt to stop what they were doing. The warrant I believe was actually for Koresh, to arrest him. The big controversy over this was that Koresh was known for going out jogging and if the ATF really wanted to take him peacefully they could have grabbed him at any time when he was out, but they wanted to make a show of it and went to the compound.

The new Koresh looks-wise is terrible! I wonder if they approached Taylor to do it and he just flat out said no. I don't know how much of Koresh we see in this series.

Sure!

Keep in mind I might be biased because unlike a lot of people; I think the davidians behavior was just as problematic as the governments and think they both made serious mistakes. It seems like both sides have their own story and the truth may be somewhere in the middle but sadly we’ll never know for sure what went down detail by detail

I would think that’s the case or at least I’d hope, I get they wanted a younger version maybe but with the wonders of technology they could do a lot
