This was a great movie and role for him even if the ending was heartbreaking. It was also nice to see his humor and sarcasm on perfect display here. The chemistry with his cast mates and friendships that evolved from doing this make it even more special.

My uncle just built a house in Prescott, which is where this movie takes place, or where the Granite Mountain Hotshots were based...and there's currently a wildfire just south of there. I'm not even sure they've moved in yet, but it's scary to think about.
Something we're relatively safe from here, wild fires...though they do happen up north and in the UP more frequently. |

I swear it feels like half of our state is on fire on any given day. Wildfires are very scary & unpredictable.
