the only reason she has to move on was Aaron, not she lost him and she looked pretty bad. and we don't know yet what happened to the kid.

Kate trusted Locke in the first and maybe 2nd season, she let him drop her in the hatch, went on treks with him. But Locke started to blow it off when he left her on the Otherville on season 3

TPTB wanted to show us that Locke is still that same old man who is a fool for his obsession with the island and easy to manipulate (Ben AND Widmore did that to him).

and any of them asked them what really happened. or how he got off the island.

but I guess Kate * and the rest of them* still thinks he was the one who moved the island the first time and not Ben, so that's why Kate doesn't believe him anything.
