So I am doing my season 1 rewatch and in ep 12 is when they have the 'wedding' and by episode 14 it becomes clear Amy only wanted to get married for the sense of security Ben provides. In ep 15 she is getting her sonogram to find out the sex and does not want Ben there, if she were truly in love she would want him there. Ben insists and pouts to his Dad who tells him to back off, he then accosts Amy in school who points out he has yet to see her stomach and is not comfortable with him being there for the sonogram or the birth. Had to laugh when she turned from him and rolled her eyes with a 'wtf psycho' look on her face . Tanya if you can please gif the look for me cause its priceless.
By episode 16 she invites Ricky over to talk, without telling Ben, and gets dressed up for it. She is subconsciously liking Ricky more and more and everyone including Ashley can see this. By episode 17, which is the last one I rewatched so far, Ricky is liking her back even though Grace and Adrian are fighting over him in the hall. I know the tide turns again by the next ep when financial security again leads her to seek out Ben and causes Ricky to back off, but still the undercurrents were there  __________________
