I am STILLwaiting for the writers to go more in depth with his character. I've been waiting for it since episode two. I beliieve the main reason Ben wanted to marry Amy and stepp-father John so badly was because Amy may have reminded him of his mom and he wanted to re-create thefamily he lost when his mom died. I think he's trying to do the same thing with Adrian. And when "all hell breaks loose" the poor boy will finally loose it. He is already slipping.

^ that's a really good theory and one I haven't really thought of before I don't think. You're right, I think that's exactly it. He wants the family he never had, and while I find that understandable, it's time to grow up.
