Don't know where to put this, but the huge fire in LA is near Josh's home.

Up until now Topanga has been ok, but they have now asked that Topanga now evacuate. The fire is now on both sides of the 101 freeway and spreading fast.

I hope he doesn't lose his home.

OMG, I hope his home is not in trouble. That would be heartbreaking.

As my wife and I were evacuating, I was struck by how little my “stuff” mattered to me. To the brave men & women fighting this inferno, to all in it’s path, stay safe.

What a tragic loss, not only for the people and possessions but it is quite a historic area with houses from the hippy era, not just modern homes. Insurance can pay for new builds but not replace these unique homes or their décor. Remember the dragon that an artist friend of Josh's mother painted on a wall? I would imagine that there are a lot of homes in the area with similarly irreplaceable treasures. Lets hope everyone gets out safely!

Well I'm finally on Facebook! I went into a website to buy a diary from a Donkey charity and ended up joining Facebook! I did manage to buy my diary though. I may post a pic of it on Facebook when I find out how!

I saw Bret Hart when he was on tour over here a few years ago. My son is still heavily into wrestling and two of his friends frequently organise shows in the local clubs. I also saw The Rock, and all the other wrestlers of his time when they did arena tours over here. Stone Cold Steve Austin was the headliner of one of the shows, and had great presence and charisma.

I'm going to be away from home for a week visiting relatives, but should be able to post every day, or at least keep up with the posts about Josh's private life. I always miss the bits about Josh when looking at the instagrams people post! Maybe one day I'll catch them before they disappear!

Having real trouble with the site today. Running really slow so can't hang around for long. I've been trying to get on for about 20 minutes so if I disappear it will be because I've lost the site.

We had an issue with our internet connection/WiFi etc. Got in touch with the provider and it's all sorted now. Going home tomorrow so will be able to post more regularly when I get back to my normal days. Been out and about a lot this week shopping for the winter and cruise. Mostly done, just a few more items to get then I'll be all set for Christmas, winter and arctic weather.
