I wish I could take credit for it, but I found it on Twitter.

Just watched the last three episodes of season 2 and the 1st of season 3. I don't usually watch the beginning of season 3 so it was quite fresh. I still don't think I could sit through the one with the weird man and the pen.

I tend to skip over that one too.

I've always liked this promo pic.

I did actually watch that one but missed the following 2 as I was booking our New York trip. Thank goodness for credit cards - we can sort out who owes what later, the important thing is that it is now booked.

Have just watched the end of The Box, the next one and Entrada. Going to bed now - will check in some time tomorrow - I have a dental appointment so it may be later on in the day.

I'm on disc 3 and plan to watch a couple more today.

I came across this pic while looking for Peter pics for the new Thread and just had to post it.

I watched Marionette, Firefly, Reciprocity and Concentrate and ask again. The next one is an over there episode about the skelter beetles and as they are too much like cockroaches for my liking I might give that one a miss. I have allowed the hubby to have the TV for his catch ups for an hour or two while I catch up on here. I will have to look for some relevant pics to go with those episodes.

I think that pic is an off set pic as Peter's hair looks more like Josh's natural style and not the tidied up Peter version.

I think you're right about it being a behind the scenes shot. You can kind of tell by John too, it's more his smile/laugh than it is Walter's. Funny how you can make out differences between actor and character.

That shows what good actors they are. I think compared to most TV shows the cast of Fringe were outstanding - from Anna, Josh and John at the top to the lesser shown supporting cast like Agent Tim, and everyone in between.

Most of the guest stars have been outstanding and the villains very worthy opponents.

I think the acting in Fringe was outstanding as well. I found so much of what they did to be believable because the acting was just that good.

The TV is free now so I am going to watch OS - there is a special behind the scenes look at it on Blu-ray so I am going to see what's new on that.

It's not just the acting that made "Fringe" the show it was. The science in the show is pretty spot on as well. Actually because of the show I'm more of a "science" geek than I ever was.
"Fringe" is basically foreshadowing a great deal that is happening in the realms of science, "transhumanism" for a start with machine/organic components just like the "Shapeshifters" and also the story of the "FIRST PEOPLE" has its basis in science and folklore as well. I really need to rewatch it again and look at the underlying themes as it is a treasure trove of information.

It's definitely worth the re-watch, whether it be for the pure enjoyment of it or to gain science knowledge. For me, I would need to know more about the basics of science to know whether or not some of the details were factual.

I watched the special OS episode and found it really informative on how certain scenes were made and where the ideas came from, and a bit of background character information.
