If its got its premier at the film festival, when do you think it will be released in the UK. We seem to get everything later than the USA. I'm really looking forward to this film. The stills look great.

Well, see, the tricky thing about independent film is that this isn't a "typical" world premiere and then it gets released in the states. It's dubbed as a world premiere being no one has ever had a chance to see the movie, outside of special arranged screenings and such. Basically, this will allow it to be seen by festival-goers, which also consist of buyers and distriubutors that may be interested in purchasing the film to have it be released.

Once we find out if that happens, then the general public will hear more about the exact release date, and when it'll be hitting different theatres world wide.

Thanks for the news article, Lady. Is it okay if I move it over to the "Shadows in the Sun" section?

Not a problem I went ahead and posted what you sent over to the "Shadows" thread.

Since "Aurora Borealis" is opening at the Tribeca Film Festival in a few weeks, are any of you planning on going? I can't believe that it's finally getting some screen time. Let's hope that it does well enough to pick up a full fledged distrubution deal! *crosses fingers*

I've got contacts up in New York, I can try to go see it. What date is it playing again? If I can't go, I can ask one of my friends to look into it.

This looks really good - I love Juliette Lewis, as well. I'm glad Josh got a chance to work with her.

I just received news about Aurora Borealis and that the new movie poster is now available!

I love it!

Love Love LOVE the images.... the tagline, though, is pretty weak.

I think that once you know more about the film, you'll understand the tagline.

I don't know how I feel about this poster... on one side I find it beautiful and on another there are many things that bug me in it.

About the tagline, isn't it its job to get you without you knowing about the movie? (but I do like this one).
